C BONE
You might not imagine the bracing town of Newquay, Cornwall, to produce a plethora of bluesmen, but here’s one terrific example, C Bone. Although originally hailing from Sunderland, he’s was known as a beach blues busker and has made some memorably funk-fuelled festival appearances. This includes storming performances in 2024 at the Ceryandola Blues Festival in Barcelona, on the main stage at Upton Blues Festival and Boardmasters.
C Bone and his band are spreading their wings with extensive live touring around the UK during 2025 including Upton Blues Festival, Tenby Blues Festival and Looe Rock and Blues Festival.
“C-Bone’s got it all. If you can get to see him live, don’t miss the chance”. Blues Matters
After serving an apprenticeship whilst living in Spain and France for some time C Bone developed a smooth and exhilarating style, with knowledge and versatility. C-Bone’s got it all. The experience was further honed during a successful period with former band The Big Sets who fired up thousands of festivalgoers throughout the Southwest of England.
2023 saw C Bone release his debut album ‘North Sea Breeze’ on which his versatility shone through with driving funky tracks such as Comin’ on Through and Come Hell or High Water, some classy jazzy R&B on the lively Three Sweet Kisses, blues rock with Loaded Gun and The Stealer, plus the heads-down piledriver of Keep on Rockin’.
In July 2025 C Bone releases the perfect showcase for his talents with the ‘Live At Project’ 83 album by the C Bone Band.
